In reply to Kivumbi Edward. I live in Jinja and I all hangouts that anyone from outside town or within but trying to have a good time would go to are near the water to lake Victoria.

“Lake Victoria was first sighted by John Hanning Speke a European Explorer of the British Origin”. To me, this should be very clear that Speke, was not the first person to sight Lake Victoria. Maybe we can say that; he was the first European to sight the lake, otherwise, the local East African people we already living around this lake (locally called Nalubaale) and using its resources like water and fish.

As a group we ate food from the restaurant at a wood table with chairs and cloth napkins outside near the lake and we were waited on very well and the lake is an excellent surroundings. We are from the U.S.A. and I would recommend it for food, service, senery.
